Dead by Daylight already has a great lineup of licensed killers, but there are plenty more they're overlooking. We would like to see something like The Thing pretend to be a survivor in some kind of LTM, but this list is more a result of what the community has stated in multiple polls. These are five killers the community wants to appear in Dead by Daylight soon.
Slender Man
With Slender (2012), a new generation of survival horror games was born. The game boosted many YouTubers' careers, and it showed how intriguing it could be to be a survivor on one map, trying to complete objectives while being stalked. In some ways, games like Dead by Daylight were inspired by Slender Man.
Due to the nature of this kind of game, it is difficult to make someone like Slender Man work. The fact that he teleports is part of what makes him so scary since he isn't supposed to move. Nonetheless, this is a big ask for the community, and we can suspend belief even further for an old friend.
Jason
It's hard to believe how much goes into Jason being in Dead by Daylight. Lawsuits have been filed for the creator to get the character, the original Friday the 13th game securing Jason, and so much more. One thing is for sure, Dead by Daylight definitely needs Jason.
In old horror movies, Jason and Michael Myers were two of the best chasers. Although Jason has already entered the game, the community has called for him ever since first getting licensed killers. Jason already has a Friday The 13th game to prove his ability as a killer.
Candyman
A seemingly lost to time killer has returned in the new Candyman movie. Although it is named after a real killer, Candyman is the ghost of a slave who was lynched and mutilated. Based on racism that has occurred throughout history, this is not far-fetched from the truth.
The new Candyman movie came out in 2021, which is relatively new, is a good way to attract more players to the game. Additionally, Candyman's hook hand works well with the hooks in the game, so he could be a great addition to the roster.

It
A killer clown is pretty frightening, regardless of scary movies. Pennywise from IT is so scary that the mere thought of Pennywise chasing me is enough to make me run for the hills. With his red balloons and his transformation abilities, Pennywise could be a great trapper. If it were able to switch between different killers for a few moments, that would be interesting.
Seeing as Pennywise is a great hunter, this one feels new and even more worthy than most others, which is why the community calls for it so often. Pennywise isn't the type of creature that kills randomly; it plans and wants to make its prey feel fear.
Alien
Slender, an indie game, was followed by Alien: Isolation, a game from a Triple-A studio. It was arguably a far more frightening experience than Slender and worked so well with the idea of being trapped with an awful killer. In the game, the alien grew smarter as it played against players, but with a human, the element of learning is already present.
Dead by Daylight should include the alien simply because the game should have a baseline of notable killers and creatures. Currently, we play Dead by Daylight to play as or against some of the killers we all know. Therefore, the game should strive to become a staple in the gaming community in this way.
