How to hook the Obsession four times in a single trial in Dead by Daylight

It's not as impossible as it sounds!

You can hook a Survivor only two times, so how do you hook the Obsession four times in a single trial in Dead by Daylight? There's actually a pretty simple solution to make sure you complete this Rift challenge.

The 'You, Yes, You' is a Killer Master Challenge of Tome I in Dead by Daylight that asks you to hook the Obsession four times in one match. If you have also looked at this challenge and thought that Survivor can only be hooked two times, don't worry.

We've come a long way from the days when the only obsession perks you could use in the game were Mikey's. There are now several different Killer perks that you can put in your loadout to change who the Obsession is. You can check out the complete list of the perks below.

Perk NameDescription
Friends 'til the end- Any time you hook the Obsession, a random Survivor will scream and become the new Obsession.
- Any time you hook any Survivors who are not the Obsession, the Obsession will have their aura revealed to you and suffer the Exposed Status Effect.
Furtive Chase- Every time the Obsession is rescued from a Hook, the Survivor who rescued them will become the new Obsession.
- Each time you hook the Obsession, you gain the Undetectable Status Effect
Nemesis- Any time you hook the Obsession, a random Survivor will scream and become the new Obsession.
- Any time you hook any Survivors who are not the Obsession, the Obsession will have thAuraaura revealed to you and suffer the Exposed Status Effect.

If you use the above three perks in your loadout, you will most likely complete the Killer Master Challenge in one or two trials. I recommend playing as the Killer you are most comfortable and confident with. If you want someone specific, there are a few who would do well with the challenge.

  • Wraith's stealth ability is great for this challenge, especially if you are using the Furtive Chase perk; you can keep an eye on the hook without being seen.
  • Hillbilly can get across the map quickly with his chainsaw as well as get instant downs. This should make it easier for you to get the match over with as soon as possible.
  • Nurse is one of the best Killers in the game (if not the best) if you know how to play her well. No one produces better map pressure than her with the teleportation powers.

On top of this, if you are lucky, then you might get some Survivors with Decisive Strike and For the People—two Survivor perks that can also change who the Obsession is. Of course, this might not happen in most cases, so you can't rely on it.
