To use the Easel Canvas, players must first purchase it via the store in Demonologist. Once purchased, equip the Easel Canvas to your loadout, and you can use it when you load it into a game. During a match, place the the canvas on a table or floor by pressing the Left Mouse Button. However, you should only set the Easel Canvas inside a room you suspect or know the ghost/entity is in for the best results. Doing so allows you to get the entity to draw on the canvas, revealing which dimension they reside.

We recommend using the canvas when the ghost/entity is most active, or you may not get positive results. Luckily, you can usually cause ghosts to become active when exploring the map or using tools such as the Voodoo Doll. Players should also have at least one person waiting at the HQ when using the Easel Canvas. The person at the HQ needs to watch the room so that they quickly add Easel Canvas to the list of evidence. For the best results, place tripoid camera facing the Easel Canvas to make monitoring things easier.
