When Hunters gain the power to wield the Strand, they become Threadrunners. These guardians specialize in quick movement, while also dishing out heavy crowd control to numerous enemies. By utilizing the proper combination of grenades and Strand Fragments, Threadrunners can suspend enemies for extended durations, causing them to levitate helplessly as you pick them off one by one. Below are all Threadrunner abilities and Aspects in Destiny 2 Lightfall.

All Threadrunner Abilities in Destiny 2 Lightfall

Silkstrike (Super Ability)

The Threadrunner's Super ability throws a vicious rope dart that deals damage to any enemy within its deadly reach. It includes a light attack and a heavy attack. Furthermore, while Silkstrike is active, Threadrunners gain significantly decreased cooldown on their grapple.

  • Light Attack - Throws the rope dart in a frontal direction and deals damage to enemies. Enemies struck by the tip of the rope dart take increased damage, and killing an enemy with the tip of the rope causes them to explode.
  • Heavy Attack - Swings the rope dart in a circular motion, dealing damage to all enemies in a wide area of effect.

Threaded Spike (Strand Melee)

Throws a rope dart that bounces between enemies that deals damage and severs them. Severing an enemy causes them to deal significantly lower damage for a certain duration. Once it is done bouncing around, the rope dart will return to you, granting you melee energy refund for each target hit. Clicking the Melee button to catch the rope dart as it returns to you will increase the amount of energy returned.

Ensnaring Slam (Strand Aspect)

While in the air, activate your air move ability to slam down to the ground, causing nearby enemies to get suspended in the air for a certain duration. While suspended, enemies cannot move or attack you. Ensnaring Slam consumes your class ability energy and increases your class ability cooldown time.

Widow's Silk (Strand Aspect)

Grants you an additional grenade charge. Using your grapple creates a Grapple Tangle at the grapple point. Additionally, latching onto the Grapple Tangle refunds grapple energy.
