How to get Resonant Element Destiny 2

We really hope this resonates with you.

Weapon crafting has undergone several changes in Destiny 2. Previously, Guardians had to worry about five different Resonant Elements, as each would allow Guardians to craft different aspects into a weapon. At the beginning of Season of the Haunted, this was all simplified to the one Resonant Element.

What is Resonant Element in Destiny 2?

Resonant Element comes from weapons with Deepsight Resonance. These are easily identified by their red border around the weapon icon in the inventory. By using the weapon in combat or completing activities with the weapon equipped, Guardians will attune to the resonance and be able to extract it.

If the weapon isn't being actively used, it will take a few activity completions to finish off the progress bar. Otherwise, using it in an easily farmable location like Lost Sectors or spots like Shuro Chi will rapidly complete the weapon. Each extracted Resonant Element will be worth 300, with Guardians having a total cap of 10,000.

Resonant Element is used in weapon crafting to both craft and reshape weapons. Depending on the weapon perk selected, there will be different costs, so having a stockpile of Resonant Element is recommended.
