How to get the Destiny 2 2024 Guardian Games Memento

Artificial scarcity is what corrupted the diamond market.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me thrice and I know what you're doing here, Bungie. Destiny 2 has a new Memento with the 2024 Guardian Games. As with the Festival of the Lost and Dawning Mementos, obtaining the All-Stars Memento will require some hoop jumping.

Where is the All-Stars Memento in Destiny 2?

To acquire the All-Stars Memento, players will need to bank Gold, Platinum, or Diamond Medallions at the Tower during the 2024 Guardian Games (March 05, 2024 - March 26, 2024). Now, there's a catch as Gold and Platinum Medallions don't guarantee the Memento, only a chance for it. To guarantee the Memento, players will need to bank a Diamond Medallion.

How to get Diamond Medallions in Destiny 2

There are three ways to obtain Diamond Medallions and all three involve the weekly Diamond Contender Cards from Eva Levante in the Tower.

The first Diamond Contender Card will have a randomized objective. Week 1 requires players to complete all encounters in a raid with a Fireteam comprised solely of the same class (Hunter, Titan, Warlock). This is a tall order for the more socially hesitant of us, but thankfully there's another option.

The second Diamond Contender Card can be acquired by linking your Twitch and Bungie accounts together and then watching two hours of a Destiny 2 stream with Drops enabled. Once you have watched (left it on in the background) the reward must be redeemed through Twitch and then in-game from Eva Levante.

As for the PvP Diamond Medallion, there aren't any clear-cut directions on obtaining it at the time of this writing. My money is on it being tied to Trials of Osiris which only rolls around on the weekends. I'll make sure to update this article once that information becomes available.

Aside from this chase, there is one improvement from previous events. While players can still only hold one Memento at a time, Eva Levante will hold any additional Mementos in the Tower. However, since Eva departs with the Guardian Games, those Mementos will also. Use them or lose them!
