Joining a clan in Destiny 2 promises multiple benefits including your own Clan Banner, private Fireteams, and Clan Rewards from additional bounties offered by Hawthorne. If you have a group of friends ready and/or want to host your own Destiny 2 clan, first you'll need to know how to make one using one of the two methods below.
How to make a Destiny 2 clan on Bungie Website

- Provide a description of your Clan. This will provide players with a better sense of your community values.
- Choose the Clan's language and Security actions.
- Security options: Approval Required, Open Membership, Invite Only.
- Press Create Clan when complete.
After following these steps, you will have a Clan ready for players to join.
