Disney Dreamlight Valley DreamSnaps updates shop with new summer items

Time for a summer shopping spree!

There is tons of exciting new content coming with the DreamSnaps update. In fact, I can't decide what I'm more excited for, an easier way to earn Moonstones or the bubbly Vanellope character! But that is not all that's rolling in with this update. They announced in their official update trailer that it will also add new summer-themed items to the Premium Shop. Keep reading for all the details.

New Premium Shop items coming with DreamSnaps update

Disney Dreamlight Valley has officially announced their summer DreamSnaps update released very soon on July 19, 2023, at 9am ET. According to their new trailer on their official Twitter account, this update will not only include a new method to earn Moonstones and the character Vanellope, but it will also add several new summer-themed items to the Premium Shop.

The trailer, shown above, reveals tons of exciting new items that you will be able to purchase from the Premium Shop. It showed us a glimpse of summer character skins, like Merlin in a tropical shirt and shorts, a beach house, a new Watermelon Alligator pet, and even scuba gear to equip your player character with. It also showed off some great beach decor, like surfboards, beach chairs, and more, that might be available to purchase at Scrooge's or in bundles in the Shop. Who knows what else might pop up in there as well, fitting this summer extravaganza update?

Thankfully, this update will make it much easier to purchase these special items in the Premium Shop with the DreamSnaps contests cause you'll need as many Moonstones as you can get. Though they haven't revealed any prices for items yet, you'll want to start saving up as soon as possible to get all these fun treats. Or earn some more by competing in the DreamSnaps contests once they arrive!

Get ready to feel all the summer vibes with this new update arriving very soon in the Valley. Since the Premium Shops regularly cycle out, keep a close eye on it to keep track of all the goodies starting to roll in, and save your Moonstones to collect them all.
