No matter what platforms you choose to purchase the game on, you should be able to keep your hard-earned progress. We have all the details on its crossplay functionality for you below!

Does Disney Dreamlight Valley have multiplayer crossplay?

Along with the expansion, players can now experience Multiplayer mode in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and thankfully, it is confirmed that this allows crossplay. Once you place the Valley Visits Station in your Valley, you can generate a code and have friends visit you no matter what platform they are on. However, during this Multiplayer, you will not be able to progress quests; you will only be able to explore areas, find collectibles, and interact with things you have already unlocked in your Valley.

How to cloud save in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

If you want to play on multiple different platforms, you're going to want to ensure you enable cloud save. Cloud save will ensure you keep the same character and progress no matter what device you're playing on. However, you will still need to purchase another version of the game on that other platform.

If you want to enable crossplay/cloud saves, the game makes it easy for you to do. From the title screen, scroll to Cloud Save, then use the right side of the screen to either log in to an existing Gameloft account using a valid email address or create a new one. If you create a new account, it does require you to verify your e-mail before you can enable cloud saves. Your device must also be connected to the internet to enable any cloud saves. Once you do this, you can open the game on another device and log in with the same account to automatically pick up where you left off.

Losing your hard-earned progress is a bummer, so make sure you enable cross-saves and a valid Gameloft account to keep all your progress shared on all platforms. Have some fun with other friends in crossplay Multiplayer as well!
