The popular mobile game Dragon Ball Legends was first released on May 17, 2018, in the US and on May 24, 2018, in Japan. It has received many updates over the years and has had many new and recurring events featuring many anime and manga characters.

Who Developed Dragon Ball Legends

Dragon Ball Legends was published and developed by Bandai Namco and Dimps in 2018 for Android and iOS devices. Bandai Namco was also the publisher for Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, the Akatsuki Inc developed game on the same platforms.

Bandai Namco and Dimps develop a majority of Dragon Ball games, including the Budokai, Tenkaichi, Xenoverse, and Heroes series. They also developed the Dragon Ball: The Breakers game.

When Did Development Start For Dragon Ball Legends

Development for Dragon Ball Legends began sometime before 2017 because, in February 2017, Bandai Namco Entertainment approached Google Cloud. As a result of this meeting, Dragon Ball Legends was the first mobile app game to use Google Cloud, making the game's Player versus Player battles seamless and easier to connect.
