All Dredge multiple endings, listed

There are two endings in Dredge, though only one will provide you with a suitable lore wrap-up at the end. The other cuts the story off early, leaving you to wonder why things are how they are.

You can either get the Bad or Good ending in Dredge, with the latter obviously being the one you want to aim for. A warning that there will be minor spoilers ahead, so proceed at your own risk.

For Dredge's Bad ending, you can play however you like until you've reached the point where you've collected all five Relics. Once you have, return to Blackstone Isle, enter the Mansion, and speak to the Collector. Tell him you want to make the final voyage.

The familiar beam of red light will appear in the ocean: this is where you need to go. Sail to it (map coordinates G8, to be exact), and you'll see a sparkling spot in the water. Interact with it to start the final cutscene and reach the Bad ending in Dredge. You'll unlock the Unshackled achievement for doing so.

To get Dredge's Good ending, collect all five Relics. But before handing them in, though, make a detour to an unmarked island at map coordinates P10 and anchor at the dock here. Why, you ask? Because the Old Mayor is waiting for you by the campfire. Speak to them.

Once the conversation ends, return to your boat and sail to Greater Marrow, where your journey started. Talk to the Lighthouse Keeper and ask them about the silver and crimson book before heading over to Blackstone Isle, entering the Mansion, and speaking to the Collector.

Refuse to hand over the final Relic, and he'll eventually hand you the Crimson Book. Return to the Lighthouse Keeper in Greater Marrow, and once the conversation is over, go back to your vessel.

Sail over to map coordinates G8, where you'll see the same sparkling spot in the water as the Bad ending. Though, this time, interacting with it will net you the Good ending in Dredge instead.
