What are Solari, Plascrate, Fuel Cells in Dune Spice Wars, explained

Three of the most valuable Resources on Arrakis!

In Dune: Spice Wars, players will come across various Resources in the game, and you will need to manage them properly to gain an advantage over opposing Factions. Solari, Plascrete, and Fuel Cells are some of the primary Resources required for construction, and various other purposes. Knowing how to harvest and farm these Resources will allow players to never fall into a Resource Deficit.

What are Fuel Cells in Dune: Spice Wars?

Fuel Cells are the main power source used on Arrakis, and it is required to operate vehicles. Harvesters and Ornithopters require Fuel Cells, and buildings like the Refinery and the Airfield also depend on this Resource. Unlike other Resources, Fuel Cells are not tradable among opposing Factions in Dune: Spice Wars.

To farm Fuel Cells, players will need to construct Fuel Cell Factories in Villages near Energy Sources in the Region. Check the image above to see how Energy Sources look in-game. These buildings yield +9 Fuel Cells and have an upkeep of +8 Solari, and +4 Plascrete.

What is Solari in Dune: Spice Wars?

Solari is the official currency unit of the Imperium, and this Resource can be traded between opposing Factions. Players will require Solari for several aspects of the game, including building construction, Espionage, and Military operations. You can acquire Solari by exchanging Spice via CHAOM Contract. 

To farm Solari, players will need to construct a Processing Plant in a Village with Rare Elements in the nearby Region. Check the image above to see how Rare Elements look in-game. Processing Plants will give a +30 Solari production for every Village it is constructed in. Players will also discover Special Regions like the Wells of Riches, where constructing a Processing Plant will yield +100% Resource production.

What is Plascrete in Dune: Spice Wars?

Plascrete is a versatile material used at great cost primarily for all aspects of construction in Dune: Spice Wars. This Resource can be traded between Factions, and can also be harvested by setting up Plascrete Factories at various Villages. 

Players will find various Regions with Minerals as shown in the image above. These Regions are best to harvest this versatile Resource as they give a +50% boost to Plascrete production. Similarly, you can also Trade Plascrete with specific Sietches in exchange for Water.
