What is the Lansraad Council and how to get more Influence in Dune Spice Wars?

Gain the political advantage over other Factions on Arrakis!

In Dune: Spice Wars, players will have to strategically achieve a dominant hold over Arrakis with their Faction, and this can be done with brute Military force, subtle political maneuvering, and spying operations. The Landsraad Council, ruled and overseen by the Padishah Emperor, is a civil committee comprising all the great houses in the Imperium. Resolutions are passed in the Landsraad Council, and players will get to participate in these by using their Votes and Influence. Since Influence is a tradable Resource, players can ideally get more of it from other Factions right before significant Resolutions to win by a majority.

What is Landsraad Standing in Dune: Spice Wars?

Landsraad Standing is the representation of a Faction's political power in the world of Dune: Spice Wars. The Landsraad Standing has five different stages: Very Low (0-99), Low (100-199), Medium (200-299), High (300-399), and Very High (400-500). Gaining or losing Landsraad Standing entirely depends on the actions of a House.

For instance, if players fail to pay the Imperial Tax, or if Resolutions are passed against their Faction in the Council, then the Standing decreases gradually. Similarly, if you have paid the Imperial Tax on time and strategically aligned Votes to win Resolutions by a majority in the Council, then the Standing increases rapidly.

How to get more Influence in Dune: Spice Wars?

Influence is a necessary Resource in Dune: Spice Wars, and it is primarily required to strengthen your Faction's Votes for the Landsraad Resolutions. It can be traded between all the other Factions, and you can construct buildings like Listening PostCouncil Chamber, and the Embassy to improve Influence production.

The Council and the Embassy can be built at the Main Base after progressing in the game. Influence will also depend on Relationship levels with other Factions and Sietches on Arrakis. Make sure to always stack up on this Resource before significant Resolutions are passed in your Faction's favor in the Landsraad Council.
