When does DUNE Spice Wars release?

Legendary Entertainment announced a new title at the 2021 Game Awards based on their latest movie franchise: DUNE. After the popularity of DUNE, it's unsurprising to find that a game is now in the works for the sci-fi franchise. The upcoming real-time strategy is sure to pique the interest of RTS fans. When can players get their hands on this new title, though?

DUNE Spice Wars enters Early Acces sometime in 2022. Players can wishlist the game now on Steam. Players can expect to fight with enemy factions over the invaluable resource: Spice, like in the DUNE movie franchise.

While we don't have too much more information, we did get a CG trailer that hints at the game's tone and what players can expect when battling over Spice in DUNE Spice Wars. Legendary Entertainment is sure to reveal more information in the coming months, including how to sign up up for Early Access.
