Social Stats allow you to meet certain characters, properly use higher-level gear, and improve your stats in Dungeons of Hinterberg. I'll show you how and where you can raise all of your Social Stats in Dungeons of Hinterberg.
How to increase your Social Stats in Dungeons of Hinterberg
In Dungeons of Hinterberg, players have four Social Stats to raise. These Social Stats are Amusement, Familiarity, Relaxation, and Renown. The actions you choose to make in the game will raise these stats. For example, completing new dungeons will raise your Renown, while taking a rest day at a Scenic Spot will increase your Relaxation.
In this guide, I'll show you all of the Scenic Spot locations in the four areas around Hinterberg. Additionally, I'll explain the different ways you can increase your Social Stats while in Hinterberg itself. This includes the Scenic Spots in town, extra activities you can do at night, and interacting with NPCs.
All Scenic Spot Locations in Hinterberg
Hinterberg itself contains a few ways of increasing your Social Stats. The first way your Social Stats can be increased is by visiting the Scenic Spots in town. These Scenic Spots include:
- The Spa (A1), which increases your Health and Relaxation every visit.
- The Campfire (A2), which increases all of your stats slightly as well as your relationships with anyone at the campfire. The campfire can only be visited if other characters are there in the evening.
- The Boat Rental (A3) will increase your Relaxation, Physical Attack, and Magical Attack.
- The Cinema (A4) increases certain stats based on the movie playing. After watching a movie for the first time, the bonuses they give you will be reduced.
- Austrian Movie: Familiarity
- Documentary: Increase Magical Attack
- Fantasy: Increase Physical Attack
- Romantic Comedy: Amusement
Forming relationships
The second way of increasing your Social Stats in Hinterberg is by forming relationships with characters in the area. When you spend an evening with a certain character, they will increase one of your four Social Stats. You can use the map to view who is in town and which of your stats they will increase.
The following characters will increase one of your Social Stats:
- Albert: Relaxation
- Dani: Relaxation
- Dog: Relaxation
- Gertrude: Familiarity
- Hannah: Familiarity
- Henning: Familiarity
- Jae: Relaxation
- Julian: Familiarity
- Kai: Amusement, Renown
- Klaus: Familiarity
- Marina: Amusement
- Renaud: Renown
- Sam (Samkele): Amusement
- Thea: Amusement
- Travis: Amusement
Relax in your room
The final way to increase Social Stats while in Hinterberg is to do something in your room at night.
Players can choose between doing three things every night.
- They can go straight to bed.
- They can read a book (A1) to increase their Familiarity stat.
- They can watch TV (A2) to increase their Amusement.
If you choose to watch TV or read a book, you will stay up late and have reduced health the next day. Your missing health will return once you get a good night's rest.
All Scenic Spot Locations in Doberkogel
Doberkogel has four Scenic Spots scattered around the mountain. Resting at each of these spots will take up an entire afternoon. The first time you spend an afternoon at one, that spot will increase both your Health and your Relaxation. Resting at any of them more than once will only increase your Relaxation a bit. The Doberkogel Scenic Spots are as follows:
- A1: A campfire in front of the Doberkogel shed.
- A2: A picnic table along the path to the Jelly Tunnels dungeon.
- A3: The edge of a pier next to Jelly Tunnels.
- A4: A platform overlooking Doberkogel at the top of the mountain.
All Scenic Spot Locations in Hinterwald
Like the other four areas of the game, Hinterwald has four Scenic Spots to discover. The first rest at all of these spots will increase players' Relaxation as well as their total Health. After the first rest, each Scenic Spot will only increase Relaxation by a smaller amount. The four Hinterwald Scenic Spots include:
- A1: A riverside picnic by the Hinterwald water wheel.
- A2: A sitting area at the top of the Windmill.
- A3: A picnic in the middle of the forest.
- A4: A picnic next to the Bizarre Towers dungeon.
