FromSoftware has become an industry titan thanks to its prolific Dark Souls and Bloodborne franchises. These games offer challenging bosses, varied play styles, and multiplayer for those looking to compete with other players. Will Elden Ring, the latest entry in the FromSoftware lineup, offer those same multiplayer options?
Elden Ring offers multiplayer options for players to enjoy, including cooperative, invasions, and PvP, as with other titles from the FromSoftware catalog. Each of these modes allows players to tailor their game to the multiplayer mode of their choosing.
Players looking to battle against other players will be happy to hear that PvP battles make a return, as do invasions, giving players a chance to battle other users during their adventures in the Lands Between. As with all Soulslike games FromSoftware has created before, users can assume that these features can be disabled for those not interested in competing against other players, though FromSoftware hasn't explicitly stated this to be the case yet.
If cooperative play is more your style, you can bring up to three friends along with you as you play through Elden Ring, as the game supports four-player cooperative play.
