Where to find the Bloody Finger for invading in Elden Ring

The Bloody Finger is most coveted item for players wanting to engage in PvP without having to spend their hard-earned Runes. Normally, invasions are done through using the Festering Bloody Finger but this consumes the item each use. The Bloody Finger can be used repeatedly with no downside and is obtained by doing the White-Faced Varre's questline.

Starting Varre's Questline At Rose Church

After defeating Godrick The Grafted, players can access Liurnia. Within the lake lies a church to the west. Varre is located there and will set players on a quest for them. Players will keep returning to Rose Church for the duration of the quest.

The first objective that Varre asks of the player is to simply invade other players. They must do this three times before moving to the next part of the quest. Many of them can be bought from several merchants, including Patches in Limgrave. A popular invasion area is just before the following boss inside the Raya Lucaria Academy.

"Killing A Maiden"

After invading at least three players, returning to Varre will advance their questline. They require the blood of a maiden that can easily be obtained in one of three methods.

Chapel of Anticipation

To the Northwest of the Rose Church lies The Four Belfries. The chest at the top of this area contains an Imbued Sword Key, and using this key on the first belfry (the one on the immediate left going down from the chest) will take the player back to the beginning of the game. After fighting the Grafted Scion players only have to go back to where they started the game to find a corpse that they can claim the blood from.

Church of Inhibition

Northeast of the Rose Church is the Church of Inhibition. Acquire blood from a corpse there. This is the easiest method of obtaining the blood.

Hyetta

The last option is to kill the NPC Hyetta, a blind woman with her own questline and rewards. She wanders toward different locations after players give her key items, but she first appears at the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace.

Obtaining The Finger

After the blood is obtained, simply returning to Varre at the Rose Church will reward them with the Bloody Finger. This requires agreeing to what they ask for and some screams of pain from the player character. Once this is done, talking to the NPC again will reward the Pureblood Knight's Medal.
