If you are to succeed in your ambitions of world domination in Evil Genius 2, you are going to need a lot of funds, so here are the fastest ways to make gold in the game. 

How to farm gold in Evil Genius 2: World Domination

If you want to farm and make gold quickly in Evil Genius 2, you will need to run schemes, but not just any schemes, but money schemes to be exact. However, there are several types of these money schemes, and all have their unique requirements and take a certain amount of time to complete. That said, if you want to make gold fast, we highly recommend only doing the schemes that take three minutes and require only three worker minions to complete.

This is because these schemes will give you a steady income quickly and produce less heat and attach less attention from agents and super agents. Along with this, when combined with a few other schemes all running simultaneously, you can easily make 40k to 60k in a short amount of time compared to if you were running the longer thirty-minute ones.

However, to run more than one scheme, you need to have a considerably sized control room to start multiple criminal networks - we recommend having at least six terminals to start you off, and after that, you can just expand as needed.

Once you get a few networks up and running, keep checking back and farming the three-minute schemes, and you should have a ton of gold in no time at all. Along with this, you can also mine any gold walls inside your base and upgrade your minimal networks via the research tree. But after you reach a certain point, feel free to switch a few of your networks to farm longer schemes.

However, don't get carried away, as if you let too many long schemes run on the world map, you might leave an opening for a super agent to intercept them. Luckily if you need to, any scheme can be canceled by clicking them and the option to do so on the world map.
