Multiplayer in games like Stardew Valley and Fae Farm are essential to the farming simulator game genre. Whether you're playing locally, online, or online cross-platform, you may need some guidance. And we have it for you down below!
Does Fae Farm have multiplayer?
The great news is that Fae Farm does have multiplayer! You will need a couple of things set in place for it to work, though. First, you'll need a Phoenix Labs account set up and logged in. Secondly, your friend(s) (if playing online) will need their own copy of Fae Farm. Online multiplayer works for up to four people on one farm.
Does Fae Farm have a Local Coop mode?
Fae Farm not only has the abilities for online multiplayer but also local multiplayer. Local coop mode also allows up to four players at once. One caveat though is that there doesn't seem to be the option to play locally on PC. Many players (including me) have been unable to find a way to play local coop on PC, though the feature seems to work fine on Nintendo Switch.

How to play Multiplayer in Fae Farm
To begin playing Multiplayer in Fae Farm, you'll need to get through a few days and the initial few quests until the option is available. After that, you'll need to decide to either host or join your friend's world. To access multiplayer, go into your pause menu and choose the two controllers that say Multiplayer.
Can players on Switch and PC play Fae Farm together?
If you and your friend(s) have different platform versions of Fae Farm and want to play multiplayer together, you're in luck! Fae Farm supports cross-platform online multiplayer. Thanks to the Phoenix Labs account requirement, playing on different systems isn't a problem.
