Fall Guys is a delightful platformer with battle royale aspects. It pits 60 players against one another in a race to the finish across a series of different courses. You will need to run, jump, climb, grab, and dive like a pro if you want to claim the Crown. That said, you may be wondering how to dive in Fall Guys.

Depending on which platform you are playing on, your dive input will be different. In addition, you can pair a dive with a jump to get a better distance. Here is how to dive on all platforms in Fall Guys.

You can dive from a standing position or dive after jumping. Diving is a great way to get more distance or squeeze under obstacles or over gaps. You can also use this to throw objects farther and even knock other players off the course. Diving will also place you in a flat position which can help stop you from sliding. Another great place to dive is as you are crossing the finish line—sometimes a dive gives you the distance you need to quickly beat another player.

Jumping and then diving will provide you with greater distance, so this is more often than not the technique you want to use. One thing to note is that diving can sometimes leave you prone, and your Bean may take longer to stand up. It will take time and practice to learn the optimal times to dive and when it is better not to dive in Fall Guys.
