How to get Legendary Cores in Fallout 76?

Here's how to get legendary cores in Fallout 76

Legendary cores are a brand new resource item recently added with today's update, Steel Reign in Fallout 76. If you want to get your hands on some legendary cores, you will need to farm them by completing daily quests, ops, and even events. But what are these legendary cores even for?

In short, these new legendary cores serve a similar role to the already existing legendary modules. But instead of serving as an item required for legendary crafting recipes, players can instead use legendary cores to add legendary effects to non-legendary items.

That being said, once you get these legendary cores, you can then use them alongside modules to craft legendary mods for your gear. Once you get the mods you can then use them to boost your non-legendary weapons into legendary ones by going into the modify section of either a weapon or armor crafting bench.

When in the modify section of either station, you will then be able to apply up to three-star legendary mods to your items. Doing will then bump the item to whatever star upgrade you used on it and add a random amount of effects depending on the upgrade used.
