Many Farming Simulator entries have a mod that works similarly to this one, which needs to be installed. In essence, it provides you with signs that you can place on your farm, allowing you to gain a larger government subsidy or a smaller municipal subsidy every year.

It comes with two types of subsidy:

  • Government Subsidy for 100 million dollars every year
  • Municipal Subsidy for 100 000 dollars every year

The advantage here is that you can place and remove the signs as you see fit, controlling when you get the desired boost in income.

The creators did not add this to the game themselves, so it is technically a money cheat. Using the mod is the equivalent to the vanilla game and making your own rules, which benefits the players in a way that's not available to everyone. This would be considered a cheat.
