All Aquamarine Locations (Map) in FF16 The Rising Tide

You may have to cut a couple of bellies.

Final Fantasy XVI The Rising Tide has introduced four new Eikon ability accessories for Clive to craft. The only catch is that they require material that can only be found in Mysidia—and in fixed quantities to boot. Here’s where you can find Aquamarines in FF16.

Aquamarine only appears in the Mysidia map after you’ve finished the What Ails You side quest in Haven. The Blacksmith will reward you with a stone that can detect Aquamarine across the map. You should hear a drop of water sound when you’re near, but these things also grow fairly brightly.

The locations of Aquamarine differ based on difficulty. I found that harder difficulties, such as Final Fantasy and Action mode, had more Aquamarines located inside monster bellies. This means you have to defeat a lot of nasties to obtain them.

You will not find all the Aquamarines you need to craft all four Leviathan accessories in one run, so only create the ones you know you'll be using. That said, here are all the Aquamarine locations I’ve found in Final Fantasy 16 and where exactly you can find them.

Depending on your current difficulty is, Tailwind Bay can house an Aquamarine or two. Move close to the Lesser Archelons and listen for your water drop SFX. If you hear it, or a “Did you hear that?” from Clive, then that’s your cue to slash its belly up for the coveted gem.

Father’s Fell

An Aquamarine can be found in one of the forks around Father’s Fell.

Behind or near a bunch of tough crabs, you’ll find an Aquamarine buried in shallow water.

Near the shrine that keeps time frozen (Aire of Hours) is a location called The Gallery. It's home to many high-level monsters with stagger bars, such as Quindim. Depending on the difficulty you're on, the Aquamarine could be guarded by Quindim or a Temple Coeurl.
