Chronolith Trials are a part of the side activities in Final Fantasy XVI. They are stone monoliths that take you to a trial level where you can test your mastery over a specific Eikon. Here's where to find all of them.
Where to find all Chronoliths in FF16 - Map locations
There are seven Chronoliths in Valisthea, and eight if you bought The Rising Tide DLC. Each Chronolith Trial will test your mastery of a specific Eikonic power that you own. You will only need to complete the first seven to unlock the For the Hoard trophy, one of the missable trophies in Final Fantasy 16.
The Hand of Titan (Titan)
To locate the Hand of Titan, first teleport to the nearest obelisk, the Velkroy Desert. From there, head north to The Northern Velkroy Desert. You'll pass by the abandoned town of Ceratina; look for a passage leading you into an isolated area populated by a few small monsters. Defeat them to unlock the Hand of the Titan Chronolith Trial.
The Hand of Dione (Garuda)
If you're still in the area of The Dhalmekian Republic, travel to the nearest obelisk, Laetny's Cleft, to locate The Hand of Dione. Head on down into the Drakos Deep and keep to the right. After a dead end, there will be a fork in the cave. Take a right, and it will lead you into a small opening with the Hand of Dione Chronolith Trial.
The Hand of Hyperion (Phoenix)
To locate the Hand of Titan, teleport to the nearest obelisk in the Imperial Province of Rosaria, Martha's Rest. Head over north and over the land bridge to the Greensheaves. You will find the Hand of Hyperion Trial Location to the right of Rhiannon's Rest.
The Hand of Iapetus (Ramuh)
To find the Hand of Iapetus, you must travel to The Holy Empire of Sanbreque. Look for the Lostwing, the nearest monolith, and teleport there. Head outside the town using a stone overpass through the Cutter's Gate, then travel south and towards the Norvent Valley. Go left from the bridge and into the forested area when you reach the crossroad. A couple of small mobs will guard The Hand of Iapetus Trial Location. Clear them out to unlock the stone.
The Hand of Mimas (Bahamut)
If you're still in The Holy Empire of Sanbreque, you will find The Hand of Mimas just north of Northreach. You can walk or use an obelisk to teleport into the town area. Head into the city, pass through the imperial training grounds and go left toward Cape Osiere. You will encounter a few Dragonets along the way, along with some Imperial soldiers near the Westwatch.
The Hand of Rhea (Shiva)
To find the Hand of Rhea, you must travel to The Kingdom of Waloed. The Shadow Coast is the nearest obelisk location to reach it. Travel north, through Wolfdarr, and keep right as soon as you enter the Angry Gap. Look for a narrow walkway. This path will take you into a hollowed-out bit of wall containing the Hand of Rhea Chronolith Trial stone slab inside.
The Hand of Enceladus (Odin)
The Hand of Enceladus is also located in the Kingdom of Waloed. To visit its location, teleport to the nearest obelisk in Vidargraes. Head south and traverse the open plains of the land, encountering several small mobs along the way. The area you're looking for is called Bedlam Boughs, where you will find a small forest. Go past the Badbach Conservatory and look for a small grove where the Hand of Enceladus arete stone is located.
The Hand of Tethys (Leviathan)
The Hand of Tethys is located northernmost of Mysidia. To get to it, you need to wrap to the obelisk and Riversmeet (not Tailwind Bay) and venture east. The path is blocked from the right side. The Leviathan trial can only be challenged if you have The Rising Tide or Echoes of the Fallen DLCs downloaded.
