Fans of the Final Fantasy franchise love to know everything about their favorite characters, including their voice actors. At first, I thought it was too much as I wanted to associate that voice with a character in the game. But after a while, I, too, became invested in actors. It started with, "That sounds like (insert famous actor's name)." That happened with FFXVI when I heard Elwin Rosfield for the first time. I had to find out who is FF16 Elwin Rosfield's voice actor.

Who is voicing Elwin Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI
The English dub voice of Elwin Rosfield is John Hopkins, a successful English TV actor also known in gaming circles. He was the voice of Erend in Horizon Zero Dawn and Hendrik in Dragon Quest XI. And yes, he does sound like Sean Bean.
If you decide to play with the original Japanese FFXVI voice cast, you'll hear Hiroyuki Kinoshita as Elwin Rosfield. Mr. Kinoshita is a veteran voice talent credited with over 40 video game, anime, and movie titles. For example, he was the Japanese dub voice of Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron. I tried playing with the Japanese dub version of FF16, and the main character sounded great!
