In Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.3, a brand new diving and spearfishing location was added to the game, Upper La Noscea. This was actually an old area from A Realm Reborn, revamped in Endwalker to have a single body of water spanning across two separate, unlinked maps. Here are all the new diving and spearfishing locations.
FFXIV Upper La Noscea diving and swimming
You can swim and dive in Upper La Noscea for the first time. Head down to the water and start swimming, adding an additional way to traverse Bronze Lake apart from the ferry or flying. You can also dive by flying into the lake with a mount or pressing Ctrl + Spacebar while swimming. Diving will give you access to the new spearfishing locations. You'll need to have completed the prerequisites to have unlocked diving to use the dive action.
