Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier is Square Enix's battle royal spin-off of Final Fantasy VII. In this game, you can utilize melee weapons, guns, materia, and vehicles to defeat the other candidates for the SOLDIER program. While you have a vast arsenal, guns will be your primary weapon.
There are three different types of firing modes in Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier. You are not locked into one and can freely change them and even customize them to an extent. You can see all three below.

Auto Fire
Auto Fire shooting mode will make your character automatically fire when your crosshair, zoomed or not zoomed, is over an enemy. We believe this is the best choice and recommend using this as it does not require you to tap another button to make your character shoot.
Floating Fire
Floating Fire shooting mode makes the fire button float on the screen, moving around. You will have to press this button to make your character shoot while also aiming at the same time. This combination can be tricky to use effectively.
Fixed Fire
Fixed Fire shooting mode makes the fire button stay in one location on the screen. You have to line up your shots and then press the button to fire. This feels somewhat slow and clunky to use but could be good for precision weapons such as the sniper rifle.
