Can I skip the straight to Endwalker in Final Fantasy XIV?

With Final Fantasy XIV's latest expansion, Endwalker, out for all to enjoy, players new and all are scrambling to enjoy the latest chapter of the Final Fantasy XIV story. Whether you've played the story before on a different character, or you want to get up to speed with the latest content, there is a way to skip the vast majority of the game's story content.

Players can circumvent the story of Final Fantasy XIV and its expansions by buying the Tales of Adventure items from the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store. These items immediately complete a set amount of the game's main scenario quests. There are several purchasable options for the story skips, which we've listed below:

• Tales of Adventure: A Realm Reborn—$11 USD
  • Using this item instantly completes all main scenario quests up through "Before the Dawn," letting players start from the first quest of Heavensward, "Coming to Ishgard."
• Tales of Adventure: Heavensward—$15 USD
  • Using this item instantly completes all main scenario quests up through "The Far Edge of Fate," letting players start from the first quest of Stormblood, "Beyond the Great Wall."
• Tales of Adventure: Stormblood—$20 USD
  • Using this item instantly completes all main scenario quests up through "A Requiem for Heroes," letting players start from the first quest of Shadowbringers, "The Syrcus Trench."
• Tales of Adventure: Shadowbringers—$25 USD
  • Using this item instatnly completes all main scenario quests up through "Death Unto Dawn," letting players start from the beginning of the Endwalker expansion.

Keep in mind that Tales of Adventure do not boost character level, only complete characters' main scenario quests. To level up a particular class or job, players must either grind it out the old-fashioned way or purchase One Hero's Journey from the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store.
