Get yourself a Hatching Bunny minion with the return of the Hatching-Tide Easter event in FFXIV

Easter comes to FFXIV!

Final Fantasy XIV has a rich history of seasonal events, and you can add one more to that list as Hatching-Tide returns to the game. The annual easter event was revealed by Square Enix via Twitter on April 6.

From Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 1am PT to Wednesday, April 27, 2020, 7:59am PT, Hatchling-Tide will return, spreading joy and egg-citement to Eorzea. And, as per usual with seasonal events, there are some exclusive items up for grabs.

Perhaps the most exciting is the Hatching Bunny minion. This rabbit (that looks more like a moth to us) is new and exclusive to the event. There’s also a brand new emote, “Eat Egg," that does exactly what it sounds like.

There is also a pair of new housing decoration items: the Eggsemplary Basket and the Hatching-Tide Mobile. And some items that were available during previous Hatching-Tide events will be available for purchase for Gil.

This popular event is returning right in time for a surge of players as the 6.1 patch drops. 6.1 releases on April 12, and Hatchling Tide kicks off the following day on April 13. So, just enough time for you to rush through the story and experience some Easter fun!
