How many players can play split-screen in Chocobo GP?

Kart racers are one of the best local multiplayer experiences out there and are known for their exhilarating fun and chaotic moments. Chocobo GP looks to bring this to the Nintendo Switch along with a cast of beloved Final Fantasy characters. This may leave players wondering how many players can play split-screen in Chocobo GP.

The answer is two—there is only a two-player split-screen in Chocobo GP. So if players want to add more, they will need separate Nintendo Switches. This can be seen in the announcement trailer around the 1:05-minute mark. You can watch that trailer below.

While it is disappointing not to have a four-player split-screen, Chocobo GP looks to be loads of fun. It features several fan-favorite characters, Magicite to wipe out the competition with, several game modes, and more! There will be plenty to do in Chocobo GP upon release.
