How to complete the Mission in Mor Dhona quest in Final Fantasy XIV

The Mission in Mor Dhona is the starting quest for the new Myths of the Realm Aglaia Alliance raid. A new 24-man raid was added to Final Fantasy XIV in patch 6.1. The Aglaia raid is the first part of these new Myths of the Realm quests that will see you uncover the mysteries of Eorzea. With that said, here’s how you unlock and complete the Mission to Mor Dhona questline.

To unlock the Mission in Mor Dhona quest, you need to complete the first five new Main Scenario Quests (MSQ) missions. These quests are quite long and include a dungeon, so this could take you a while.

Once you are done with the MSQ missions, you will need to complete the Chronicles of a New Era questline. To do this, head to Old Sharlayan and talk with the NPC called Fresh-Faced Student at X: 9.0, Y: 11.5. 

This will unlock the Mission in Mor Dhona questline. Complete all four quests in this questline by talking to the various NPCs you’re directed to. This is a simple questline with some fetching, some finding, and some talking to NPCs. 

Once you’ve completed the Mission in Mor Dhona, you will unlock the new Alliance Raid, Aglaia. This 24-man raid is effectively a catch-up raid that will give gear to those who missed out on the first tier of the Savage raiding. It’s also got some great lore about the gods of Eorzea, so pay attention and enjoy this new segment of the Final Fantasy XIV story!
