To get a Chocobo in Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier you will need to find a Chocobo sign which are spread throughout the map. Once there, tap the icon on the screen to call one. Within seconds, one will appear and you can mount up.

Chocobos are a great way to get around the map. They can move quicker than your walking speed and can jump, even gliding if you hold the jump button. Not only that, but they can also do a melee attack against enemies who get too close. They are a great way to chase down fleeing enemies or close the distance.
