How to get the Crabe de la Crabe minion in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker

No need to get crabby!

The Crabe de Crabe minion is a brand new companion added in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker. This cute crustation will strut sideways after you as you adventure in Final Fantasy XIV’s latest expansion. But just how do you get the Crabe de la Crabe minion?

To get the Crabe de la Crabe, you’ll need to have a Retainer with the Fisher job. Then you’ll need to send them on the Waterside Exploration XXVI. The Crabe de la Crabe is a rare item returned from that expedition.

To send your retainer on a Waterside Exploration XXVI, you’ll need to have your own Fisher job at level 81. You’ll then need to make sure your Retainer is level 81 themselves and has at least 1452 Gathering.

On top of the Crabe de la Crabe, Waterside Exploration XXVI can also yield several fish and between eight and nine bags of Allagan Silver Pieces. The fish discovered include Fate’s Design, Flowerhorns, Lunar Cichlids, Mesonautas, Imperial Pleco, and Peacock Bass.

Alternatively, if you’re unable to level your Fisher Retainer or just don’t have enough Retainers to have a Fisher, there’s always the Market Board. At present, the Crabe de la Crabe sells for anywhere between 500,000 and one million Gil depending on your server. However, this is sure to fall in price as the expansion continues.
