Lapis Manalis is the new dungeon added to Final Fantasy XIV in Patch 6.3. The dungeon sees you explore the snowy mountains around Garlemald as you attempt to uncover the mysteries of an abandoned village once home to a cult of Reapers. Here’s how to unlock the 6.3 dungeon Lapis Manalis.
Unlocking Lapis Manalis in FFXIV
To unlock the Lapis Manalis dungeon, you’ll have to progress through the 6.3 story until the fifth quest, King of the Mountain. This is accepted from Alphinaud in the Tertium, Garlemald (X: 32, Y: 16.5). The base reward for the quest is 5184 gil, but the rewards from the dungeon include armor, a minion, and more.
As is now standard with story dungeons, the whole thing can be run as part of the Party Finder or in a trust with a party of NPCs. By default, the dungeon is run with Varshahn, Aliphinaud, and Zero. But you can choose to run the Dungeon with Estinien, Alisae, or Y’shtola as well, giving you a variety of DPS options.
Lapis Manalis is a level 90 dungeon with a minimum average item level of 590. Make sure you’re level 90, and have an average item level of 590 across all gear before you attempt to join the dungeon. It’s advised you run it as a trust to start off with and later with players!
