How to use the Chocobo Farm in Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier

Enjoy the quiet life.

Let's be honest: the best part of the Final Fantasy series isn't the characters or the plot, it's the Chocobos. Okay, that may be an exaggeration but they are pretty darn adorable. Chocobos make an appearance in Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier in an important way.

Each player has their very own Chocobo farm where they can find and bring back Chocobo eggs. Eggs are found in special chests or you can purchase them from the Moogle Emporium. You will have to incubate the egg and hatch it at your farm.

Chocobo eggs can hatch into different colors such as red, purple, and more. At the Chocobo Farm, you can feed them various vegetables to increase their stats. This is important because you can designate which Chocobo you will call in a match. You can ride Chocobos to get around the map faster.

Another aspect of the Chocobo Farm is the ability to breed them. If you played the original Final Fantasy VII, then you should remember the quest to breed Chocobos. Keep breeding them and maybe you will get the golden Chocobo—if, that is, the golden version exists.
