With Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker leaving Early Access on Dec. 7, some players who’d pre-ordered and been playing the game for several days found themselves unable to login to the game. This is due to the new expansion not being registered, despite the game being accessible during early access.
How to fix error code 3054
Even if you have early access from a pre-order, you need to register and activate your copy of Endwalker on Mog Station in order to continue playing the game. To do this, navigate to your Mog Station account, and scroll to the Registration Codes section. Enter your code for Endwalker and activate it to continue playing the game.

Despite having early access, you’ll still need to activate the expansion on its official release. If you’re in a new area added in Endwalker, and haven’t added the Endwalker expansion code to your Mog Station account, you’ll be unable to access the game until you’re registered.
Depending on how you purchased your copy of Endwalker, you should be able to find your code either in an email, or on your store account. For Steam users, you should right-click on Final Fantasy XIV Online in your Steam Library and select Manage, and then CD Key.
This can be done at any point after Dec. 6 2021. Early Access users will have to activate their copy of Endwalker by Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 at 11:59 p.m, with the time zone changing according to where their account is registered. Make sure you register your account as soon a possible to avoid being locked out!
