What platforms will Foamstars be on?

Foamstars has been confirmed to release on PlayStation, with no other platforms announced at this time. Square Enix has a strong history with Sony, but it occasionally releases its games on other platforms. Here is the confirmed list of platforms Foamstars will be available on:

  • PlayStation 4
  • PlayStation 5

Is Foamstars a shooter?

Foamstars is a shooter title that seems to have elements pulled from Splatoon and an aesthetic from Fortnite. That said, we expect Square Enix to have their own take on this genre and incorporate their own ideas. The gameplay looks fun, flashy, and fast-paced, and I would love to see a new spin on the Splatoon formula.
