Fortnite reveals upcoming collaboration with Futurama

Fortnite and Futurama are teaming up.

Fortnite and the recently revived Futurama are teaming up for a collaboration. We don't yet know what it entails, but we'll likely be seeing some characters from the animated juggernaut make an appearance in Fortnite. Here's everything we know about it.

Futurama meets Fortnite in new collaboration

On July 26, Futurama and Fortnite will be joining forces for the latest collaboration between the Epic Games battle royale and a popular brand. Futurama was revived by Hulu for another season that was released in July, so the timing makes perfect sense.

The collaboration was revealed on Fortnite's Twitter account by showcasing the Hypnotoad, a creature that has a cult-like following stemming from the show. Collabs like this usually bring some new skins and challenges to complete, so players will have their plates full when it drops.

What Futurama skins are coming to Fortnite?

We don't yet know what skins will be coming as part of the crossover, but we certainly have a good idea of who to expect. Fry, Bender, and Leela seem like good bets considering they're the three main characters of the series. There could be some more surprises other than that, so stay tuned for the official reveal.

On top of that, we'll probably see some changes to Fortnite POIs, as evidenced by the brief teaser trailer showing off the Hypnotoad. Luckily, we don't have a lot of time left until we figure out what's happening with the crossover. We'll certainly see the characters stick around in the Item Shop for a while if they are anything like previous crossovers. You'll likely have to spend some of your V-Bucks, so make sure you have a few on hand if there's a skin you like.
