Junk Storm Challenges Guide

The challenges are fairly easily to complete, and you can always do them in Team Rumble if you feel like they might be difficult. You can also use Party Assist with any of these challenges which should help you complete the difficult ones.

Consume Glitched Foraged Items (5)

Glitched Consumables were just recently added in the v10.10 Content Update. These can only be found in the area that used to be the indoor Soccer Stadium. It's just west of Tilted and can be located at C5 on the map. The consumables there will periodically glitch out and change into something else. You'll see Apples, Mushrooms, Coconuts, Peppers, and even Hop Rocks (Shadow Stones were removed due to a bug). Consume five of these to complete this challenge!

Play Arena matches (3)

Wow, this is an interesting challenge. Epic is forcing you to go play some competitive games. If you have no real interest in this, you can just jump off a cliff for three matches straight, but you might as well play the games and see where you stand! There will be a lot of newer players jumping into these games, so you should be on an even playing field if you don't play a lot.

Scoped weapon Eliminations (2)

Find yourself a Sniper Rifle or a Scoped Assault Rifle and get some eliminations. This would be a lot easier in Team Rumble, you'll have more time to loot and find a scoped gun to complete the challenge with.

Deal Headshot damage to opponents (500)

Team Rumble is great for this one, you can likely finish it in a couple of matches.

Search a Chest in different Named Locations in a single match (3)

Another easy one, you can do this in any mode really. I would just head far from where the bus path follows, and then grab a Driftboard and head to other locations.

Land at Pressure Plant or Happy Hamlet in different matches (3)

Nothing special about this one, just land at either spot in different matches.

Deal damage to opponent's structures (1,000)

This is another good one for Team Rumble. There ends up being a ton of structures being built, so just shoot them to gain damage. If you can hop into a mech, you can just plow your way through them.

Hidden Battle Star

Once you've completed three challenges in the week, you'll receive the Junk Storm loading screen. You can find the coordinates to the hidden star on the bottom right.

The leaked Star Walker skin is shown in this loading screen, and the exact location of the star can be found east of Sunny Steps at the I2, I3, J2, J3 coordinates on the map.

          1. Okay, well I think it’s likely you can’t get the star if you don’t have the battle pass (might have been a bug before). I’ve seen people get the star once they’ve unlocked the loading screen.
