Fortnite Syndicate Quests: All challenges & how to complete them

Fortnite's Chapter 4 Season 2 has brought in a host of new weapons, Reality Augments, outfits, futuristic locations, and a new set of quests known as the Syndicate Quests. It has a total of seven challenges that you need to complete. Last season, it was the Cipher Quests that had our attention, and this time its the Syndicate Quests.

How to complete all Syndicate Quests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

The Cipher Quests had our attention for quite sometime until the Season 2 dropped, Epic Games decided to continue the questline, but this time its called the Syndicate Quests. These are a new set of quests that have a total of seven challenges and, upon completing one, you can proceed to the next one. The seven challenges are as follows:

• Win the Arcade Game in Frenzy Fields or Slappy Shores.
• Drive a Rogue Bike at Drift Ridge, Fallow Fuel, and Neon Bay Bridge.
• Shoot Targets With SMG's or Assault Rifle while on a Grind Rail.
• Win the Arcade Game in Lonely Labs.
• Restore Data Receivers.
• Search a Computer for Evidence of Tampering.
• Report to Evie or Thunder.

Only the first quest will appear as you begin, and once you are done with the first challenge, the second one will appear. You do not have to complete all the challenges in one game. Completing these challenges will earn you lots of XP. However, make sure to equip yourself with the weapons first before you get busy with completing the challenges as these areas are heavily contested.

Although all the quests are relatively straightforward, you need to focus on surviving before going ahead with the challenges. Unlike the Cipher Quests, where you needed to decipher the locations and then proceed with the challenges, Syndicate Quests will tell you the locations on the map.

Win the Arcade Game in Frenzy Fields or Slappy Shores

This is the first challenge and you can go either to the Frenzy Fields or the Slappy Shores to complete it. Winning the Arcade Game at either of the spots will win you the challenge, allowing you to move to the next one.

We landed at the Frenzy Fields POI for this quest. You will see a big house, west of Frenzy Fields. If you go inside, you will see the living room that has the TV and a pool table. The Arcade machine is just beside the TV cabinet. All you need to do is interact with the machine to get started.

To win the arcade game, you need to simply move the small green ball to the X marked with a red color on the screen. You cannot move the ball to the grey spaces and need to find a way to take it to the X. This task is not at all difficult to complete. Just use the arrows on your screen to move the ball to the X. For example, if the X is in the right side on the screen, use the right side arrow below to move the ball to complete the quest.

Once you have completed the first step of the Syndicate quest, move on to the second step.

Drive a Rogue Bike at Drift Ridge, Fallow Fuel, and Neon Bay Bridge

This next challenge requires you to ride a bike in all three locations listed. Do not worry about finding the bikes, as they will be there once you reach the location. First location is the Drift Ridge which is located North of the Mega City. If you do not have a bike, you will find one at the side just before you approach the bridge. You can take this to the next two locations as well. The three locations will be marked on the map for your convenience as you proceed with the challenge. Fallow Fuel is located on the Southeast of the Mega City and Neon Bay Bridge is located at the South of Mega City. Check the map image above to see the exact locations for this challenge.

If you have landed in a different area away from these locations, you can use the bike you have found and ride it to all of these locations. Bikes can be found by the side of the road and the gas stations near the Mega City POI. Since these bikes are the newest addition, Fortnite has crafted the quests in such a way that it will require you to use the new weapons and vehicles, as well as travel to the newest locations of the map.

After completing the second step of the Syndicate quest, move on to the third step.

Shoot Targets With SMG's or Assault Rifle while on a Grind Rail

The third step takes you back to the most popular POI of the map, Mega City. It has several sets of neon colored Grind Rails. To do this challenge, you simply need to equip yourself with either of the weapons, and shoot three targets. We used the Assault Rifle to shoot enemies. You will find plenty of Grind Rails in Mega City, and to ride one, simply get closer and interact with it.

These rails not only enhance movement speed but also allow you to move forward, backward, or even change directions. To change directions while your shooting targets for the challenge, jump and click on the required directional input. In case your enemies are chasing you while you are on the Grind Rails, make sure to change the directions to fire back at them quickly.

Once you are done with this step, you will be able to move to the next step of the Syndicate quest.

Win the Arcade Game in Lonely Labs

Once again, you will have to win an Arcade Game to complete this step. The fourth step of the Syndicate Quests takes you to the Lonely Labs POI. You will see an orange colored lab, extremely North of the capture point. Go inside, you will see the pool table, a chair, and just beside it is the Arcade machine.

The game is simple and similar to the first Arcade Game. You will need to win it by moving the green ball to the X position. Just like the one in the Frenzy Fields, you will get four options: Up, Down, Left, or Right. Move the ball to the required direction to meet the X and complete the challenge.

After completing the fourth step of the Syndicate Quests, move on to the fifth step.

Restore Data Receivers

This is the fifth step of the Syndicate Quests. For this, you need to travel to different locations to restore two data receivers. The first data receiver is located in the Southeast part of Anvil Square. You will find a small glowing heap of sand. When you find it, the task is to interact with them. A tripod-like structure will pop up upon interacting. Similarly, you need to fix the other data receiver to complete this challenge. The data receiver locations will be marked on the map.

The second one is located at the Bamboo Circle landmark. You will find the CRZ-8 NPC walking beside the heap of sand. Once again, interact with it, and a tripod will appear. After fixing these two data receivers, the challenge will be completed. While you are there, make sure to pick up the Kinetic Blade that's kept there.

Now that you are done with this step, move on to the sixth step of the Syndicate Quests.

Search a Computer for Evidence of Tampering

The sixth step of the Syndicate Quests will take you back to the Lonely Labs POI. Here, you need to interact with a computer and search through the files to complete the challenge. You can travel to one of two locations to get this done. You can go to the Southeast near the Knotty Nets where you will find a Japanese style building and a computer kept inside the room. You can also go to the Lonely Labs. We have used the computer at the Lonely Labs.

This time you will not play games, but instead search the files on the computer. You will find three categories of files like Oppo, Personnel, and Cookbook Draft. Each of these categories will have different files. The Personnel folder will have files such as Peely and Stash'd, but the correct file is the Cookbook Draft. Once you open it, click on continue, and then select close all files that's marked as X.

This will complete the challenge and you can move to the last Syndicate Quest.

Report to Evie or Thunder

The seventh step of the Syndicate Quests requires you to find either Evie or Thunder. They are both NPCs located at different places on the map. Thunder is one of the newest NPCs of this season. They can be found in the South of Steamy Springs POI around the Lotus Lookout landmark. As for Evie, she now resides in the Knotty Nets. We interacted with Evie to conclude the quest.

Different NPCs have specific items that they offer and you can hire them to fight on your team. Thunder has Red-Eye Assault Rifle and Shield Keg whereas Evie has Tactical Pistol and Rift. Although, you cannot hire these two NPCs.
