How to Cancel Fortnite Crew

Want to cancel your subscription before the month was over? Read below to see how!

Earlier this year, Fortnite began encouraging its players to purchase and maintain a monthly subscription service called Fortnite Crew. While it did come with many benefits like access to the Season's Battle Pass and 1,000 V-Bucks every month, many people were surprised to find it was a recurring payment. You're likely here because you want to cancel this subscription for one reason or another.

  1. Navigate to the Home screen on your Switch device.
  2. On the bottom row, select the Eshop to open it.
  3. On the top-right of the Eshop menu, select your account icon.
  4. On your account page, select Subscriptions.
  5. Navigate to the Fortnite Crew subscription and open the screen to manage the subscription.
  6. Select Turn Off Automatic Renewal.
  7. Continue through the remaining prompts to stop the subscription.

Playstation

  1. In your Browser, navigate to Playstation Store (store.playstation.com).
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. In the middle of the page, there will be five tabs. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Find and select the subscription for Fortnite Crew.
  5. Select Turn Off Auto Renew.

Xbox

  1. Navigate to your Microsoft Account Page (account.microsoft.com/account)
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. At the top of the page, select the tab that says Services & Subscriptions.
  4. Find the Fortnite Crew subscription on this list and select Manage next to it.
  5. On the right side, toggle the option to Turn off automatic billing.
  6. Continue through the prompts to cancel the subscription.

These instructions may work differently depending on the device or Browser that you're using. The general idea is that the best way to stop the subscription is through your account on the device you're using rather than the Epic Games website.

One more thing before you go: Cancelling your subscription does not refund your money. You must contact Epic Games or your device's support line to be issued a refund. Canceling your subscription also stops you from receiving a monthly 1,000 V-Buck credit, and you'll no longer receive the monthly cosmetics.
