How to decrypt the signal beneath snowbank in Fortnite

Crack another cipher.

To close out Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1, Epic Games is introducing a new cipher to complete each day. Ciphers aren't the easiest thing in the world to crack, but decrypting the signal beneath the snowbank is quite easy if players know where to look.

This cipher 12.18.15.5.14.25. 14.4.2.22., when cracked, spells out Lonely Labs, so that's where players have to go to complete this quest. Once there, players must be on the lookout for a pair of shipping crates. One of them has an opening that leads underground, and that's where the cipher gets cracked.

Players will have to enter the crate, take the stairs down, and then interact with any computers down there to earn 10,000 XP and complete this quest. This will be a popular area through the remainder of the season as players look to end their quests and earn some last-minute XP.

When does the next cipher release in Fortnite?

The ciphers will come out daily until the end of the season, so players will have a new code to crack each day until March 8, which is when the season ends. The ciphers don't expire each day, so players can theoretically sign-in on the last day of the season and get them all done. Epic likes to tease players ahead of a new season, so perhaps these ciphers could prove to be a clue to what's coming.

Players who aren't all that interested in the storyline will still want to do these for some easy XP. With additional cosmetics available past level 100 these days, there's no reason to stop once the Battle Pass is completed.
