How to defeat Relik boss in Fortnite

In Fortnite, new bossess are introduced every season, and it is not surprising to see the Relik boss added in Chapter 4 Season 3. While you can buy specific items from most NPCs, some can be hired, while a select few emerge as Boss NPCs. Similar to the Highcard NPC, you can fight the Wildguard Relik boss in Chapter 4 Season 3 to get some of the best loot in the game. So, without further ado, here's how you can find and defeat the Relik boss in Fortnite.

Where to find the Relik boss in Fortnite?

With the new Wilds theme in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, a few POIs were introduced. These include Rumble Ruins, Shady Stilts, and Creeky Compound. To find this Relik boss, you will need to travel to the Rumble Ruins POI. Once you land, I would definitely recommend getting equipped with weapons because several other players will land at the same spot in hopes of defeating the boss. Check the map image above to see the exact location of the Relik boss.

To defeat him, make sure you pick up all the consumables you can find before visiting the exact location. I found him walking around the main building that's located on the eastern side of this POI, but remember to pick up weapons along the way. There is a Kinetic Boomerang located inside the southeastern tower at Rumble Ruins, and I would recommend getting this weapon right off the drop.

How to defeat Relik boss in Fortnite

Relik isn't an easy boss to defeat, and he carries the MK-Alpha Assualt Rifle, Cloak Gauntlets, and Wildwasp Jars. Before you face this new NPC boss, you should eliminate the other players at this POI so that they don't get to steal your loot. If you are planning to be creative, camp until someone else fights the boss, and seize the opportunity when they are mid-fight. Relik has one shield and one health bar, and this boss goes invisible at regular intervals.

Once you spot him, make sure to keep your distance, as he can turn invisible pretty easily using the Cloak Gauntlets. He can also travel short distances by teleporting so be wary of your surroundings. Relik also throws Wildwasp Jars, and this item can deal some amount of damage. However, if you attack this boss while he's invisible, it not only deals damage but also reveals him, giving you a small window to quickly defeat the boss.

All loot items dropped by the Relik boss in Fortnite

Once you do defeat him, you will get a couple of top-tier items that will give you an edge in every fight. Relik drops the mythic Cloak Gauntlets, MK-Alpha Assault Rifle, and healing items. Acquiring these items will certainly give you an advantage in fights. For instance, you can third-party opponents by using the Cloak Gauntlets. Use it to get into a good position before spraying down bullets with the MK-Alpha Assualt Rifle.
