How to get Joy Skin in Fortnite & who is Dahja Cat?

A fun inclusive Skin!

Joy is a skin in Fortnite that was first released back in Sep. 2021. Joy is just one of the additions made to the ever-growing and unique roster of characters in the game. Here is how you can get the Joy skin in Fortnite and who the creator of the skin is.

Joy is interesting, as they are the first character in Fortnite to feature Vitiligo, a skin condition that causes patches of skin to lose their pigment and turn white. The Joy skin is a rare outfit purchased from the item shop for 1,200 V-Bucks. The skin has helped Fortnite take yet another step towards inclusivity. The skin helps spread awareness of Vitiligo while also allowing those who have it to feel properly represented.

This Skin is not always available for purchase in the Shop. We recommend keeping an eye on our Fortnite Joy Skin page to see when the Skin becomes available for purchase.

The artist responsible for creating Joy is known as Dahja Cat. The artist is known for creating many Fortnite character concepts. They said that they created the character to show the beauty of Vitiligo and wanted a character that people with the condition could relate to. The Skin also features a rainbow theme to celebrate the LGBT+ community.
