How to Get the Free Gamora Skin Early in Fortnite

Epic Games has just announced that Gamora from the Marvel Universe will make her way into the game as a playable character. Many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are undoubtedly excited to play as the daughter of Thanos, the main villain of the series. However, not everyone knows you can actually get the Gamora skin before it drops in the Item Shop! We explain how below.

As a bonus to Gamora coming to Fortnite, Epic Games is hosting the Gamora Cup, a Duos Tournament that lets players of any skill take a shot at ranking to receive the outfit early. However, even though there are no skill requirements to make an attempt, but there are prerequisites to join the tournament. The list below outlines the basic rules to join the tournament.

• Age: Anyone wishing to participate must be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have a parent's permission to participate.
• Account Status: To participate in any tournament on Fortnite, your account must be in good standing and have 2FA Enabled. Here's how to do this: How to Enable 2FA in Fortnite. 
• Competition Rank: This tournament does not require players to be of any specific rank to enter. However, you must have an account level of at least 30 to compete.

Players can play up to ten rounds during the tournament to accumulate as many points as they can. To be awarded the skin when you compete, you must place within the following ranks, depending on your location:

• Europe: Top 2,500 players
• NA East: Top 1,250 players
• NA West: Top 500 players
• Brazil: Top 1000 players
• Asia: Top 250 players
• Oceania: Top 250 players
• Middle East: Top 250 players

When the event is being hosted, it will show up on the Fortnite game mode selection screen. To join, make sure you're in a two-person party, and select the Gamora Cup game mode before you begin.
