How to Hit an opponent while Wolfscent is active in Fortnite

Fortnitemares has returned in Fortnite, and with it come various skins, weapons, changes, and new challenges. Some of these challenges can be somewhat vague, and hard to figure out what to do. This includes the Hit an opponent, while Wolfscent is an active challenge. This may leave you wondering how to complete this challenge and collect the XP in Fortnite.

How to complete Hit an opponent while Wolfscent is active challenge in Fortnite

To hit an opponent while your Wolfscent ability is active, you will need to use the ability and mark a nearby player. Once you do so, you must get close enough to hit them with Howler Claws Slash or Air Slash abilities. Once you have landed a hit with either of these, you will receive credit for the challenge and complete it.

The best way to ensure you hit an opponent with your Wolfscent ability and complete this challenge is to get the drop on the player. Once you have marked them with your ability, get close and surprise them with a Slash or Air Slash attack.

Completing this challenge is worth 15k XP, so it is well worth doing. Seek out an Alteration Altar and dance on it to get the Howler Claws. Once you do, seek out unsuspecting prey, and mark and slash them for that sweet XP.
