Is the ODM Gear still in Fortnite?

Fortnite's seasonal updates tend to add new items while replacing the old ones, so I was not surprised to see that the ODM Gear was vaulted in Chapter 4, Season 3. This was one of the fan-favorite weapons in the game, it was my favorite too, and a lot of players are wondering why it was removed from the jungle-themed season. Here's what you need to know about the ODM Gear getting removed and if it will be back later in Fortnite.

Can you still get ODM Gear in Fortnite?

The ODM Gear was vaulted at the start of Fortnite Wilds Chapter 4, Season 3, so getting the ODM Gear in Fortnite is impossible currently. It is an exceptionally powerful weapon, good for traversal and combat—this is why it became a popular choice in the last season. You would get this item by searching Eren Jaeger's Footlocker Chests scattered around the map. But sadly, these chests were removed in Fortnite Wilds, and the ODM gear is now all but a fond memory.

Will the ODM Gear come back in Fortnite?

While there is no official confirmation or leaks, I can assume that the ODM Gear will return at some point in the future when new Attack of the Titans cosmetics are introduced. Following the pattern with the Web Shooter and Kamehameha mythic that returned to the game when new Spider-Man and Dragon Ball cosmetics were added.

Unfortunately, since it was removed at the start of the season in Fortnite Wilds, a couple of new weapons were added instead. You will now get the Kinetic Boomerang and Optimus Prime's Cybertron Cannon in the loot pool. If you want to get a hold of these brand-new items quickly, check out our guides for these weapons.
