The Fortnite Champion Series Finals Has Arrived: FNCS Date, Prizes, Rules & More

In the final days of May, The FNCS (Fortnite Champion Series) Finals will finally be upon us. In the tournament, players from around the world will compete to take home their share of the $3,0000,000 prize pool. Here is everything we know about what's to come!

The Basics

In the Middle East, the series will start on May 28, 2021. For all other locations, including the EU and North America, is slated to take place on May 29, 2021 and May 30, 2021, starting at 12pm CST. This is a different format than most tournaments and for players to qualify to play, they must have placed high enough in quarter-finals and semi-finals.

How To Watch

English coverage of the NAW, NAE, and EU regions can be watched The FNCS can be watched on the official Fortnite Twitch channel. For the EU region, coverage begins at 12pm CST on May 29, 2021. For the NAE and NAW regions, coverage begins at 4pm CST on May 30, 2021.

Prize Pool

There is $3,000,000 up for grabs this year, split between different areas of the world. The list below details which area will receive how much of the pool.

Scoring

This year, they've changed the scoring to focus on rewarding players who reach the top 25th percentile The list below details the scores rewarded for each placement in a round.

  • 7th: 19

FNCS All-Star Showdown

Once FNCS is over, they continue the competition with many of the top players in the series. The top 15 players in each region from the previous two seasons will be invited to compete against each other to see who's best in not just their region, but the entire world! The All-Star Showdown will also feature a $3,000,000 Prize Pool across all events.
