When will Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 end?

It's a long one.

Fortnite Chapter 3 began earlier than we expected, being made available for players on Dec. 5, 2021, instead of the original date of Dec. 7. This makes many players curious to know if Chapter 3 will end sooner as well, even if it's just two days off.

As of now, it looks like the end date for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is March 15, 2021. This is leaked information, so it's unconfirmed until we hear official word from Fortnite development company Epic Games. That gives us over three months to enjoy the new mechanics and characters introduced in Chapter 3.

Three months seems to exceed the average lifespan of a Fortnite season. It's just three days shorter than the longest one, which was Chapter 2 Season 5. The reason for the length of the season is unknown, but it is likely to follow the trend of previous release dates that proved successful for Fortnite, with this one ending around St. Patrick's Day and a few weeks before Spring Break for kids in school.
