Accolades are the newest addition to the Forza Horizon series. However, although they sound all fancy and different, previous players will be very familiar with them. Today we'll be answering what Accolades are and what they mean in Forza Horizon 5.
Accolades are a new addition in some ways, but in large part, they are the Influence Points that you will recognize from Horizon 3 and 4. They are the means to level up so that you can expand your festival and unlock new events across the map.
The difference is that whilst collecting Accolades, you can also unlock bonus rewards for completing certain milestones, and these can be tracked as you progress through your festival challenges. The word itself actually means award, privilege or special honor, so it stands to reason you would get more rewards!
As you can see in the top right-hand corner of the image above, the game tracks how many Accolade Points you have, so you can see how many you need to level up.
Challenges will now outline Optional and Bonus missions you can take part in to gain more Accolade Points. These might be along the lines of taking pictures of certain artifacts while exploring a region or discovering particular archaeological sites while driving around.
In any case, they are worth collecting to get the most out of the game and to make your experience the best!
